EyePower Games launches Ink2Go on the new Mac App Store. Ink2Go is a simple but powerful tool for presentation and communication. An extremely light desktop application that is ideal to be used with a pen device or a touch-screen, Ink2Go allows its users to scribble notes and annotations on the desktop, regardless of the application that is currently active, even if it is a running video, to enhance the point of discussion in a presentation, in a meeting or during a live lecture.
As a desktop application, Ink2Go launches itself as a floating toolbar, that can be dragged to anywhere on the screen so that it does not get in the way of the presentation. On the toolbar are buttons for various functions, which, among others, include pen, highlighter and eraser. Ink2Go also provides a function that allows its users to toggle from a desktop view to a whiteboard view whenever an illustration of ideas and thoughts is needed. And multiple pages of annotations are also supported. The whole process of the annotation, including voiceover as well as a talking head (with the help of a webcam) can be recorded into a MP4 video, and which the video can then be easily shared on any video portals or social networking sites. Alternatively, the annotations can also be saved as still images. As an open tool for presentation, Ink2Go has a wide range of uses. It can be used by a lecturer during a live lecture, turning his Macbook into an electronic whiteboard; or anyone, like a salesperson, a military officer, a doctor, or a corporate manager, who needs to create an offline video-based presentation, can also use Ink2Go to create one, especially when annotation can easily help highlight the salient points in the presentation. While it is ideal for Ink2Go to be used together with a pen device or a touch screen for better annotation, Ink2Go can also be used with just a mouse. A lighter version of Ink2Go, known as Ink2Deluxe, which does not have the video recording function, is currently bundled with WACOM® Bamboo tablet for sales in countries in Asia Pacific, which include Japan and Korea. Ink2Go is available on Mac App Store for $19.90 at this link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ink2go/id413610320?mt=12. The Ink2Go product website can be found at http://ink2.eyepowergames.com. |
